Subject: JD 7000 Conservation

Western NY
Got a 6 row 7000 conservation planter. Actually a 7000 with 5x7 frame but just purchased the conservation frame and am going to transfer my units to it. I have 7x7 JD 1770 single disc fertilizer openers. They bolt to the 7x7 main frame. If I put a contact drive on the back of the planter will the fertilizers openers fit on a 7000 conservation. They have 4 lift cylinders instead of the tube so maybe they will fit as is. I would rather have the type that bolt to a 3x3 bar. Got a place that will convert them into 3x3 mounts but won't do it if I don't have to. Anyone know if this will work?
