Ontario's middle east | I guess my post come off as a personal attack to most. That was not my intent, my intent was to lambaste the thought process that govt is going to be the answer to the farmers problem. To me it is clear they are the problem. Their insurance program has removed so much risk that they have gone from distorting the markets to driving them. Good luck getting them to roll out more corrective action. It is time to pull the bandaid off. Their move is to cut and run. Let the market deal with things swiftly, ruthlessly and efficiently. I know that won't happen. It will be interesting to here the wish list of solutions volleyed around at CC. I expect few involve the free market but maybe my love of capitalism will be renewed.
