| We own two 9300. Both have 855 400 Cummins in them with 9 speeds. Both had 240inch wheel bases. One set forward front axel the other was set back. I like the set back axel better. These trucks have a heavy camel back frame which is heavy enough to put a box on them without double framing them. We run a 18 foot box on the one truck but we don't drive through the fields with it. These trucks are very easy to work on and are a good looking truck in my opinion. One thing I will tell you is if the truck you are looking at is air ride it will sway or lean with a load on it. If seen these trucks flip in the hills before. So look for spring suspension. Unless you are in flat ground it wouldn't be a problem. I don't know anything about cat motors other then they are expensive to work on. But at 5000 miles a year any motor in decent shape will hold up for a while. | |
