I dont really worry too much about resale when I am paying a whole lot less for a gas from the start plus the cost of ownership is so much less.. And as far as having enough power if a V10 gas doesnt have enough power to pull it then you are way over loading your diesel anyway. I took the money I saved and put a little more with it and bought a nice semi truck. It has a way better power to weight ratio as any pickup plus far better brakes. If you feel like an important guy in your diesel pickup then you would really feel like a manly man in a semi truck. :)
