Subject: RE: 6.0 to a V10 gas conversion

Dallas, South Dakota
+1 I have a 2005 F-350 with a V-10 that stays connected to a 28' livestock trailer all year long. I would never want to own a diesel at least not for my operation. My maintenance bills are nill and I can change the oil and filters for about $30. Never once have I had to worry about it gelling up or needing to keep spare filters with me in the cab. Plus I dont have to smell like a petroleum refinery when I fuel up. Yes the mileage hovers around 10mpg but it has all the power I ever need and will pull that trailer loaded 65mph up any of the biggest hills I have ever thrown at it and I live near the river hills in South Dakota. IMHO a diesel pickup is at best a novelty item made for people that have to feel special driving a diesel. If I need anything with more power I will hop into my freightliner. Just my 2 cents.
