First off you would get the USDA involved aka FSA office .
Then you would need a base . Proof of having grown hemp in the past .
Then you would get a deficiency payment as the market saturates .
Who knows , perhaps PIC and Roll would come back.
Then farmers would quit growing but still be eligible for a payment on base acres .
Sounds like a viable program to me. :>)
Some place here in Montana ,"back in the day" It was grown under pivots.
So I guess they would have a base history in place
No problem establishing a base for me. We have some pivots with a long history of marijuana production. Just have to get the records from the DEA instead of FSA.
