Subject: cruz and ethanol

Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines
Initially, I though that getting rid of the mandate would be a negative thing for ethanol. Now I'm not so sure. I wish there was some compelling evidence one way or another.

However, as much as I would like to believe the EPA would be "gutted", it seems unlikely any candidate could accomplish this. As much as I dislike many (most) of the things the EPA does, there does need to be an agency out there to protect the environment from greedy business people.

I am courious though, what the fuel stations would look like if they left it to the market to decide what blends to use. One station in town would be offering ethanol free fuel, another 10% blend at a lower price, another 20% blend at a lower price, and another at a 30 to 50% blend at yet a lower price.

I would imagine even without the full epa, there would still be a requirement for oxygenated fuel, and MTBE would be out.

It would be nice to get a big push for blender pumps. I know there was quite a bit of grant money available for this. You'd think the corn board would be all over this.

Whatever the case, I'd think any candidate that says they are going to get ride of the EPA is blowing smoke, and making political promises they can't deliver.

I vote for the government mentioned in Daniel 2:44
