Subject: RE: Who Deals With NIGHTMARES?

Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa

I had bad nightmares as a kid....up till college age or so, then seemed to phase out of them. Now I have the craziest dreams imaginable....situations that are just way too far-fetched for a bad novel. Usually they happen when I'm a bit stressed or have had something unusual for supper or later. The nightmares that used to bother me the most was when I would know it was a dream and try to wake up but couldn't move. I hate that feeling.

I deeply believe that everyone dreams, but not everyone remembers their dreams. For that reason, sometimes people's moods during the day are directly related to their dreams the night before that they don't remember.  If your subconscious feels that something significant has gone wrong or someone has treated you badly, it's bound to affect how you face the next day. I try hard to remember that theory when people are pushing my buttons, or if I find myself being growl-y for no apparent reason.
