Subject: It totally amazes me how often.........

East Central South Dakota
It totally amazes me how often I read posts on here about how farmers in their early to late eighties are dictating how the family farm is run. They have no idea how badly they are impacting the past, present and future of successful and profitable farm succession. My dad stepped out of management at 65 and I keep reminding myself on a daily basis that I have to do the same. Will be harder for me than my dad (I am a type A) he was easy going----but the goal is successful succession planning, not me sticking around to long. Off topic rant--apologies to all.
