My latest ones are Starkeys and I like them. They are not as good a good hearing, but a lot better than nothing and saying Huh, or What all the time.
If you are a veteran you might be able to talk the VA into buying your hearing aids. I get my hearing testing and aids from the VA, thanks to a audiologist friend who told be about the VA program.
