Subject: has anybody reversed a tractor for a loader?

northern IL
I've been dealing with some mud lately, and I don't have a fwa...just a skid loader and a 2wd loader that pushes instead of riding up over the mud like a front assist tractor does.
So I kind of wondered if a loader on a tractor backwards would feed out of the bag and climb the bedding pack better? If anybody has done this, how hard is it to reverse the rear end and the steering on a IH 706 tractor or similar tractor ?
