You can find a few of these in good shape yet for under $20k and never get stuck.

I could get one stuck (and did!)

Loaders are light and the bushings (on the loader) are garbage.

For $20k find an old wheel loader and you can then carry 2 bales comfortably! Its not so easy to find a wheel loader with the third valve (for grapples etc) but they are out there!
Ye wheel loaders are good just watch the weight and they need tire chains too.
