SC. KS | My brother went partners with a neighbor and didn't buy in at all at first but was down the same line you are talking but about half the cows! The neighbor was getting older and wasn't up to the hard labor and winter stuff so bro got share of calves and did the grunt work and eventually bought neighbor out and rented pasture and then when neighbor died and family sold place we bought the pasture and now have bought more! Was a way to get started in a small way with not much investment for first few years! | |
