Dave Ramsey is risk-averse before anything else, that's why he largely ignores opportunity costs.  He also tends to think a business should be modeled on profit margins which simply aren't possible in areas like production ag, trucking, earthmoving, etc.  All of that is fine, you just have to know where he's coming from and what his target audience is.  Some of you don't get out much if you don't realize that HUGE amounts of the public have never been taught ANYTHING about money.  Dave (Ramsey) is a true blessing for those people who will get on his plan instead of having no plan whatsoever.

Hate to be the grammar police, but some posters in this thread could really use a remedial spelling course before they go poking holes in other people's math skills.
