NE Nebraska | I agree, I always figure 100 per acre for equipment but that stops it. Any less than that though a guy is really fooling himself, no way with what equipment costs its gonna be less. Some of those other costs probably aren't out of line either if your paying on a bin or shop. I think the pesticide figure is also herbicide included. My crop insurance is about 34/acre here. I got $75 acre land taxes and I don't see them including that anywhere. It really is an eye opener for what costs are running, i always figured I was figuring on the high side but I guess not? One things for sure, it doesn't leave much to live on!! | |
