Yes, but the question still remains on here....How the heck is anybody paying $350 rent or $250 rent or even $150 rent selling $8.50 soybeans???The national average yield for soybeans is supposed to be around 42 bushel to the acre. That means half are above that number and half are below. 42 bushel times $8.50 is $357 dollars. If the cost of production is around $200 an acre and the rent is even $150 you have to grow 42 bushel beans to BREAK EVEN. According to the math a bunch of people are scamming insurance to stay afloat every year. Seems like the tax guy would be telling these guys that they have a very expensive hobby because a business needs to turn a profit to not be considered a hobby.
