Ever see one of those white vans with cameras parked beside highway onramps? I'm not aware of which counties they operate in. Probably just the heavily populated areas. The sensors check the exhaust of each vehicle that passes by and records the license plates.
No never seen them.
I have to seriously doubt how much good the inspection scam is doing here in our state. New Mexico has no vehicle safety inspection system, and I can't say they are having a plague of accidents caused by signal lights and horns not working.
