We have our own too, and they look and taste better than store bought. Our yokes are a deeper yellow and larger. Probably cost us $5 a dozen to produce, but what the heck.

I buy pork belly from a local butcher for around $3 a pound and smoke it myself, no curing. We just keep it in the fridge and slice it as we need it.
