waterloo iowa | shop somewhere e lse hy vee in waterloo had half gallon milk at 1.49,choc at 1.79 bacon at 3$ /pound,aldis had eggs at 2.19.I think some stores raise prices till they have resistance then run specials,,others set a profit percentage and try to sell as many as they can at that markup.There was a time years ago when either pepsi pr coke was 30-50 percent off every week at 1 of the big stores in Waterloo,makes you wonder what their markup is on some foods. | |
