Subject: RE: Marking tile outlets for ditch cleaning

NW Ohio
The View Historic images is one of the best tools in Google earth. I have done a very similar process with Farm Works Surface. I will record the Lat/Lon for the ends of the tile lines and draw them into Surface then, find them in a field with a tile probe. I have never had to probe over 3 feet wide. Being that these are customer fields, this works GREAT. Attached is a screen shot of a field we are splitting the tile for a section of the field. After completing the planned tile, I export the map as a kml file and overlay it to Google earth to verify the design. See attached The white lines are existing tile with the black being the new tile.
