South Dakota
You don't have many options this year, the hay is in the barn as they say. Next year and subsequent years you've got lots of options. Number 1, rotate crops. Soybeans leave you with roundup and a group 14 for post burn and that's about it: cadet, cobra, and flexstar are all the same mode. Corn has lots of modes. Alfalfa, oats, and wheat can throw your weed spectrum off too. Second, you can do a little more on your pre. You've got two modes of action, and your using the same chemistry two years in a row. I'd go authority first or assist. If you want to throw a yellow (prowl, treflan, or sonolan) in with your fertilizer, it's only $5 or so dollars. Yellows are narrow spectrum, they are good at water hemp though. As has been said overlapping residual is good. We went with roundup, pursuit, and flexstar post, that total combo cost us $10/acre not counting adjuvants and corn killer.
Edited to add: you do have two options now: cultivation or bean walking, take those weeds back to 1989.
