This is a valiant effort. I like what you are trying to do here. I would warn you however, that a few years ago someone on this site tried to assess the corn crop by using USDA ratings only and told everyone they were way off when they disagreed with him. Turns out he was off on the high side by 10-15 bushels per acre. General crop ratings appear to be for entertainment purposes only.
