Subject: RE: Suckers on corn stalks?

South Texas
I've got a corn freak show going on in one field. 3 ears, suckers with an ear on top instead of a tassel, some suckers have a regular little ear too, and corn plants that have kernels growing on the tassel. BH 8550 planted at 16000 on a sandy field and it should be low fertility. I think it liked the excessive rain since its sandy soil and has a slope to it. Same number and population planted on black flat land with good fertility just has two ears and nothing freaky, think this one will yield higher.
