How is what I said belittling? 

A lot of equipment has been bought the last few years because of increased incomes.  Production is to the point the reason to have machinery and they have a cost associated with them (depreciation costs, housing costs, insurance cost, interest costs and R and M costs).  We then manage these cost and hopefully retain a profit....lower cost = more profit.  That is a farmers goal or do you see that different?  Other than that I don't know what you are asking.
