Had drive line break on 7090 last yr still under warranty. They claim I didn't grease it nuff so wouldn't warranty it. I grease every day, the ujoints were nothing but slimey grease when came apart so I disagree wasn't greased. Bad part is when driveshaft came apart at pto speed tore bunch tin work up also, so I fixed that on my dime too, besides the $1580 drive line. Been only problem with the baler in 5k bales.
This was the same problem I had with driveline on the discbine. The mechanics at the dealer, local dealership was where it was purchased, agreed privately that it was not a lack of grease, but seemed reluctant to say there was a problem, and district guy completely blew me off and wouldn't even bother to look at it.
I'm not sure it's the dealer so much as New Holland that doesn't want to stand behind their stuff. |
