| The row cleaner still does the same thing it just doesn't transmit the force to the row unit. The GFX unit is fluid damped like an automotive suspension of sorts. When it bumps a ridge it does not hop but absorbs energy. You can actually change the damping much like you would a motorcycle. If you watch the videos on our website or on youtube you can see that the row cleaner is absorbing a lot of the inconsistency in the surface and the row unit does not hop much in relation. That being said there is a complex design equation at play and lots of factors that must be balanced together to get the highest possible performance from the whole package. For most people though, a fixed row cleaner will continue to be the best choice. | |
