I don't think we will breed the dairy heifers to beef for two reasons, one is the added value of a springing heifer and two, the need to milk any that calve before being sold, ie. premature or settled on early slip. The idea had crossed my mind and if brother had indicated his intentions say, a year ago we could have planned for that. His announcement two months ago caught Dad and I off guard. Joe
