western Wisconsin | I used to do that when I was in high school with my show heifers. I don't know if it was that they were tame for showing or what but they would stand there and get suck by the calves. I would keep them seperate until I weaned and then my show heifers would go in with the cows for winter. I would keep them seperate or at least watch them close for sucking. When I sold my heifers as springers some buyers were concered about me having beef cows too. | |
