NC Iowa | Can't help you on the first 4440 which the PTO wants to run on, The second one I believe there was or is a kit you install in the console to the left side of the steering wheel. It consisted of an additional spring and maybe a roller that will help keep the PTO lever engaged. I didn't check JD Parts website. I know I have put it on both of the 4440's we have. The kit came out a few years after the 40 series were made. I don't know if it fits 30 series or not. A good JD parts man should ne able to tell you if it is still available. Mr. D | |
