SESD Sious Falls | In my neck of the woods we get along fine just putting the bags on well drained ground. It can get a little muddy during the spring thaw and after heavy rain, but I don't lose much feed and I don't get much dirt in the feed.
There is no way I would consider putting the bags on gravel. I don't want little rocks in my feed and you could possibly get holes in the plastic from rocks.
If you had one or more cement pads for however long your mud season is I think that would be enough. | |
