I think if finances aren't limiting then 2500 is easily enough acres. I have a 24 row with less than 2000 acres. Why, because I no-till and planting windows can be short waiting for the soil to dry out enough. My neighbor has 2000 acres and 2 16 row planters.
When can you justify going from a 16 row planter to a 24 row.
