Really depends on your planting window. Here, we easily can plant corn for 30 days or more and we usually don't get rained out for more than half that time at the most. For us, we were planting over 2,500 acres with a 16 row then went to 24 so we could better use a 12 row corn head. We were matched up pretty good with the 16 row on 2,500 acres. kind of have overkill now but it is nice to not have to push the conditions and speed.
