I was stung by a bee in cell phone hell a few years back. I wasn't allergic until that day, I started to have a sevre reaction. The EMS was at least a 25 minute ride to me with the bus from where I was so I got in my truck and drove to the FD in the next town over that was only 10 minutes away. I hit my onstar button to have EMS meet me there. I dropped the call with Onstar in the same spot I drop my cell phone calls.
I'd like to dump our landline too. Nobody calls it other than telemarketers and charities looking for a handout now. Our internet and TV are all through the local phone company. You have to have the telephone line if you want the other two. It seems like the dish doesn't like to work well during storms so I'm not real excited about dropping the local phone company for everything. | |
