How big is your sprayer? Look local consignments and eBay/Craigslist. Got me a used foam marker set up from a top air sprayer complete for 50$ at auction. Can't beat it for what I'm running. Row crop spraying I still prefer foam over GPS, as not planted with GPS. Foam is just faster for me to corner from and get headed upfield faster. If your just spraying vegetables foam will be just fine. If your going to be spraying drilled crops, than I would seriously consider GPS, depending on the acres. If decide GPS route, get one that paints you a coverage map. If you don't your just guessin at what you've dun. Just my thoughts as I've run foam, GPS with coverage logging, and GPS with coverage logging, and combinations of them together. 45'-90' boom widths, day or night.
