It may seem over whelming at first. But once you spend some time with one and setting one up, it will start to become much easier and you will get more comfortable with it. But they are not fool proof. They do fail and break. They are not cheap to fix, and they can get confused next to trees and other obstacles. I run foam with my ravens, but mostly on the head lands and I dont worry so much as I used to about the foam solution having to be just right not loose it.
