NE Oregon | My question wasn't pertaining to the calves of the cross itself. But using the f1 offspring as a cow. The theory is that the baldy cow who was sired by a hereford is different than the baldy cow sired by an angus. Kind of like how a mule (jack donkey bred to a mare) is clearly different than a hinny (stud horse bred to a jenny donkey)
Must not be very many people who've tried each cross later on as a cow and looked for a difference in the f2 calves. | |
