Shouldn't be either one. Data on Zetia is not very promising. Fenofibrate has better data as does Niacin (take it at night with an aspirin to reduce the flushing) use these if you can't take a "statin". Atenolol is a Beta Blocker and shouldn't cause the cough, but it can cause dizziness when you first sit up in the morning, so take it easy the first few minutes you wake up and get out of bed.
