NC Iowa | I was on lisinopril, and had that 'little niggly cough' that you speak of. it seems like it would hit the hardest about halfway through the church service. I also had several (3-4) other side effects listed. I should have been more turned in to the side effects, but they came on gradually and I attributed them to just getting older. I mentioned some of them to the doc, but she didn't seem too concerned.
I few months ago, I asked for something different because of the possible issues with lisinopril. I am now on losaratan for about 6 weeks, and the 'little niggly cough' and abdominal pain and bloating has vanished. I still have the muscle and joint pain, but maybe it takes more time for that.
as nate said, I think you should check into switching as might be a big help for you.
