Its an ACE Inhibitor (Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitor), you have a bradykinin mediated cough that is associated with all ACE Inhibitors. Switch over to an ARB (Angiotensin Receptor Blocker) and you will lose the dry bradykinin mediated cough. (Generic Names usually end in "artan")
