I always go 3 wraps,,,not a time to skimp on the wrap as when they blow up they make a mess. If the bales are damp at all it might take a week but they'll mold. Keep an eye on them and if you start seeing a moisture line going from the middle to the top of the bale they are molding. Also if the ground is very wet the net wrap will stick to the ground and you'll have another mess. That's why I ended up putting all mine through and inline wrapper.. What i'm going to use fairly soon I don't use as much plastic but if I'm selling or might keep them a couple years I'll go heavy on the plastic.. It's a challenge to put up dry fodder for sure...
