Ohio | I just got my old truck running again. Ended up I put a whole new distributor in it. I suspect it was the pickup sensor (only thing left) in the distributor shaft went bad, after I checked all the other module, rotor, cap, coil, wires fuel pump etc. I had to pull the distributor to replace the pickup coil anyway, so I just bought a new distributor with new module, pickup coil, magnet trigger, rotor and cap. Started right up and set the timing.
