| We dont talk about the ones that die or dont make money, but they do happen occassionaly, also a rising market has helped tremondusly with this deal the $500-$800 cows of 2 years ago are now the $1100-$1300 cows of today. That being said I woud rather gamble with 2 old bred cows for $1200 a piece then one "quality" $2400 bred heifer. I did buy one nice set of cows once opun a time and honestly I think these old culls raise just as good of calves with a lot less invested. just my .02
