New Mexico | Just using seasonal trend of buying shellys in the fall...those sell for $15 to $20cwt under the fatter commercial cows.
Then you feed the shellys, add say 400lbs minimum and resell the seasonal market uptrend of a general 20% cow market up say feb. hmmmmm.
You pick up 25 to $50cwt on her original weight of say 950 lbs incoming.
And you sell 400 lbs of up gain for likely in the $135cwt range this feb.
maybe you need to pick up some counseling from your cousin, cousinit...i believe.
