Those AC pickers used short aggressive snapping rolls and shelling plates unlike other pickers and snappers. They mashed the stalks down more than the other pickers and I think they left more shucks on the ears than any other brand. They were not very common in our neck of the woods, which was about 30 miles from the AC factory in Laporte IN.
