How'd he pick it? One row pull type picker maybe?
I think A-C had 20" cornheads in '64, but the thing is, it says picked (in ear) not shelled.
I have a 1959 Farm Journal that features a guy who had modified a mounted corn picker for "20 inch rows. It has been a while since I looked at it, but as I recall he had split the middle snout & re-tinned & had rolls/gathering chains there too. Who knows, maybe it's the same guy???
