Missouri
I got that issue ironed out.

e01.22 is left height (contour) voltage, e01.24 is center height voltage, and e01.26 is right height (contour) voltage.

I had a bad potentiometer for the center height. It's supposed to range from 1 volt (down) to 4 volts (up) and will set error codes if it goes under .5 volts or over 4.5 volts. The bad one ranged from 0 to 2.5, and no amount of adjusting it changed that. I installed a new one, and adjusted it to where it showed 4 volts in the raise position, and it then showed about 1 volt in the lowered position. This allowed me to calibrate without error.

The sluggishness is largely gone, but header motion is still abrupt. Increasing or decreasing the speed setting just makes the abrupt motion happen faster or slower.
