That's why I put that in there about debt he owed him or similar reason.  If he owed him money then it prob isn't legal but I could see why it happened.  If it was me then I wouldn't press charges.  If dad took just because he thought kid made too much money or had a gambling or drinking problem that is different.  We aren't getting the full version and don't really need him dragging his family through the mud any more.  Just remember things can go both was in assumptions.  Maybe he is covering for himself or for his dad.
