Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
My first thought was the size of the oil return. It appears that the excess from the valves and the returns from the motors all join together and find their way back to the tank through the hose. A hose will have more resistance than a straight piece of pipe. Every connection and turn will create more friction which results in heat.

Possibly bumping up the size of that hose and other fittings on the return side would help. Return lines are often larger than the pressure equivalents. A larger tank that contains more oil might be useful as well as a cooler.
