I sat at a dinner a few months back with a guy that is a nurse and farms. It sounded pretty ideal schedule wise. He takes the crappy shifts in bad weather so he can be off when farming time is hot and heavy. He works three 12hr shifts usually. He is a good man and makes it a priority to still date his wife and spend time with the kiddos.
