West Texas

As I have stated before, it is not necessarily the type of job that you need to look for as much as looking for the supervisors that are willing to work with you and still not short the other employees. While I have been in many different fields, the main off farm job I generally held was truck driving. When I would hire out, I always made sure that the employer was well aware of the farm. I readily agreed that any time the trucking was slow, he could park my truck so the other drivers could make a regular paycheck. When it came to the point that they demanded more of me than we had agreed on, it was never any problem to let them find someone else.
